Zaida Agreda

Program Coordinator Zaida Agreda, a native of Bolivia, obtained a degree in Social Communications from the Bolivian Catholic University in La Paz. Zaida worked as a reporter for 10 years at Bolivia’s largest television network and was named the best television reporter in Bolivia in 2005. She began her career at the Multicultural Center in 2009 after moving to Moab with her family.  Zaida is a certified medical interpreter and holds a certificate for the Comprehensive Overview of Immigration Law. As the lead medical interpreter, she often finds herself at Moab Regional Hospital assisting doctors and patients with anything from childbirth and surgeries to regular appointments. She is the Center’s longest serving employee and assists with all programs, including translation and interpretation services, and provides case management and coordination of services.
